📖 Preface
Before You Begin How to Read The Inner Testament
If you are holding this book…
thank you.
Not because you chose to read my words.
Because you chose to pause.
In a world that asks us to move faster, know more, and become something else, you have chosen to spend time listening.
That choice matters.
This Is Not a Commentary
Many books explain the Bible.
That was never my intention.
This book is not written to replace traditional study, theology, history, or devotion.
It is an invitation to read the Scriptures through another window.
A contemplative one.
Throughout these pages, I ask a simple question again and again:
What if every book of the Bible is also describing an unfolding within human consciousness?
Not instead of its historical or spiritual meaning.
Alongside it.
Like light entering the same room through another window.
You are free to agree.
You are free to disagree.
The invitation is simply to observe.
How This Book Was Written
I did not begin with Revelation.
Or even Genesis.
I began with curiosity.
One book became another.
One insight led to another.
Gradually I noticed something I had not planned.
The sixty-six books were no longer standing apart.
They had become one continuous conversation.
Creation became awakening.
The wilderness became transformation.
Wisdom became embodiment.
The prophets became remembrance.
The Gospels became living presence.
The letters became integration.
Revelation became unveiling.
Only after writing the final page did I fully understand the first.
That is why this preface comes last.
Read Slowly
This is not a book to conquer.
It is a book to accompany you.
Some chapters may take five minutes.
Others may stay with you for weeks.
If a single sentence asks you to stop reading and simply sit in silence…
the book is doing exactly what I hoped it would do.
You never have to hurry through awakening.
You Do Not Have to Believe Me
Perhaps the most important thing I can say is this:
Please do not believe something simply because I wrote it.
Test it.
Live with it.
Observe your own experience.
If these pages make you more loving…
keep walking.
If they help you see another person more clearly…
keep walking.
If they awaken wonder…
keep walking.
Truth does not become true because someone says it.
It quietly proves itself through life.
The Thread That Runs Through Every Page
As I finished this work, I realized every chapter was pointing toward the same quiet discovery.
Not more information.
More attention.
Not more certainty.
More humility.
Not escaping the world.
Seeing it.
Again.
The deepest transformation did not come from finding extraordinary moments.
It came from learning to recognize the extraordinary hidden inside ordinary ones.
A Word About the Title
Why The Inner Testament?
Because a testament is a witness.
These pages are not asking you to witness someone else’s life alone.
They are inviting you to witness your own.
To notice where Genesis is still creating.
Where Exodus is still liberating.
Where Psalms are still singing.
Where the Gospels are still healing.
Where Revelation is still unveiling.
The Bible becomes not only a sacred library.
It becomes a living mirror.
My Hope for You
I hope this book makes you kinder.
I hope it slows your steps.
I hope it helps you forgive a little sooner.
Listen a little longer.
Notice a little more.
I hope it reminds you that no ordinary day is truly ordinary.
Most of all, I hope that after the final page, you no longer feel that God, truth, love, or the sacred are somewhere far away.
I hope you begin noticing them quietly waiting within this breath…
this conversation…
this sunrise…
this act of compassion.
Before You Turn the Page
There is only one thing I ask of you.
Bring your whole attention.
Read with your mind.
Read with your heart.
Read with your life.
Do not rush to decide whether these pages are right or wrong.
Instead, allow them to become a conversation.
The best conversations rarely end where they begin.
Neither does awakening.
So…
welcome.
The journey is about to begin.
And perhaps, before long, you will discover that what seemed like a book was quietly becoming a mirror.
